Founded in 1951 by Shri Sohanlalji Chowdhary and headquartered in Ahmedabad, SSPL has spent over seven decades transforming tapioca, maize, wheat, rice, and potato into specialty and modified starches that quietly play a role in everything from the paper you write on and the fabrics you wear to the tablets you take and the fluids used in oil and gas drilling operations.
